Do-nothing Day
Sep. 11th, 2004 02:40 pmThat's what I'm having today. I have achieved absolutely nothing so far and have no plans to change that.
Well okay, I wrote the pre-announce type thing for AFPsail 2005, if it works out sort of a small Dutch AFP sailing CCDE. Which should be good. And I cuddled the cat. Horse is Out so I'm not going until the early evening to ride, don't want to disturb his time in the field. Next weekend my parents will be back and on sunday we're going for a beach-ride, which should be fun. Rowan is always so animated on the beach :-)
I really want to go sailing. Really really want to. If the december voyage gets a discount (I'm not sure how likely that is) then I'll go, regardless of missing some classes. Oh dear, that's not good of me. I'm one of 3 people in my class that *always* go to class. Not because they are all useful, but just because I've (finally!) learnt that it's best to just go to all of 'em. Anyway, for the voyage I'll miss some, can't be helped.
Also want to go to the UK Hallowe'en meet, promises to be fun... except no money. Which sucks. Or yes money but then no sailing... and I don't really want to make that choice, I think. In theory a weekend of London doesn't have to be terribly expensive (return flight for €70ish, some money for food, drink and trains..), but what's the use if you can't go into any fun shops? Well, except seeing some old friends and meeting some new ones... and the chance to show off the odd costume, of course. Hmm.
I need a money tree.
