- The shades arrived and I quite liked them, so bought and then went to order the prescription classes for the inside.


(and no, I can't smile in photos...)

- Saw my grandparents yesterday and we ate cherries. Granddad isn't doing well. (understatement warning). He doesn't have a will to live anymore so it's mainly grandmum I feel sorry for.

- I flooded half the upper garden with my 'get the rainbarrel watertight again' project... but, I've gained about 10 cm in waterlevel, so I'm going to keep it up.

- The garden is most glorious at the moment (but I can't tell my mother or she'll get homesick)

- I wonder if the two points above are connected

- I told the OKcupid guy off. He replied that he just did it because he wanted to see if he was going to reply to his other message. I'm not going to reply.

- I started a mail-list for the other people on the Europa Tall Ships Races. The shipping office sent it around to everybody - the day before yesterday. So far, nobody's joined. *sigh*
