yup, it's very direct, things happen a lot faster. And I had to get used to taking all the decisions myself (or ourselves, as the friend who went with has a lot more experience so he was mostly at the tiller). But I'm used to someone else deciding how to avoid a collision with someone etc. The captain of the Stad actually strongly recommended that I get some small sailing experience. It is the basis, he was right in that.. I definitely recommend it.
