the skin on my hands is shedding as the callusses (that's spelled wrong, but I can't be bothered right now) come off. It ITCHES.

Weekend or continuously? And inland or back to sea by then? I'm definitely interested.
Keep in mind however that I have very little small-sailing experience. (Bet I could learn to make myself useful quickly though.)

Try a soft pumice stone or an exfoliating apricot scrub on the tougher skin, and wash frequently.
