- I passed statistics. Narrow pass, but pass nonetheless. Yay!
- Finished 1 story... 5 more unfinished to go. It's something.
- Computer shop fixed the DVD-watching problem; was a codec interaction matter. Thanks for those who helped.
- Feel a bit drained and like I haven't had a holiday at all, while it's almost over
- Have the strongest urge to buy a pair of incredibly cute wellies-with-flowers on. Dunno why, I don't even really need wellies. But they're just so CUTE!
- Flex, your care package is into the mail today

Congratulations on passing that exam! I think when it comes to statistics, grades don't matter, just getting it out of the way feels good enough ^^

Passing with a high grade is great, but actually passing is the important thing (I should know, I have scraped through the last three exams I have sat... fingers crossed I'll pass the next one this Thursday).

I have Urges over girly wellies. But perhaps sensible ones would be better. How about a compromise - get yourself some yachty wellies? I have a pair of those - somewhere.

Re: care package. Flex mentioned that you had wanted something posted back to you. Want me to make sure he has done that? As far as it goes, we have been squandering the Douwe shamefully - we now only have a small amount left.

I adored the girly wellies. What I really NEED for sailing is a pair of calf height rigger-type boots. Unfortunately real rigger boots are impossible to find here... the alternative is Dubarry (shamerock) type boots and they are far too expensive. Better to splurge on a pair of €15 girly wellies!

If you could ask Flex about the package, please. No hurry though. The post office said your new coffee stash should arrive mid-week.

Yay!!! for passing statistics. I very much remember that. I failed the written and had to do an oral test to pass. Which was ok as long as we went through the material we'd covered in the course, but we finished that in half an hour and went into previously uncharted territory, and I was floundering more and more...
