I think this is the point where I have to be realistic and let go of my plan to graduate in summer '07. I kept saying to myself that this is the last bit, that I'm almost on top of that mountain... but it turns out that the last bit is by far the steepest, workload-wise. Thing is I HATE the thought of delaying things, even if only by half a year. I want to be done with this study (not in the least because I want to go sailing) but mostly because I feel like I'm not doing enough, not fast enough - that I *should* be able to do this in exactly four years.

I'm in my 9th semester now, and I still have to pass one basic course exam. After that I'll still have several semesters to go. Hope that helps to put things into perspective ;-)

It took me 5 years for a 3 year degree. If you think you need to break, break. Don't keep pushing on and on and ending up exhausting yourself. They don't give out prizes for "the most stressed out undergraduate" so don't work towards it :)

Take time off, take a deep breath, relax and prepare for the next semester. You'll feel better for it and if you graduate now or in 5 years time, the important thing is that you do graduate
