I WANT MY BLOODY EMAIL!

On another note, I just found two pair of Pennangalan boots I can sell... a remnant of my wild life in Londen (ahem). Already sold 1 pair and hope to sell the second for a reasonable price. Together they should make a flash visit to London possible.. and that would be nice.

If anyone is interested in a pair of these, size 7, worn one night 'cause I'm more of a 7 and-a-half, they could tell me and we would hopefully be able to work something out.

While I'm on the subject of boots, we did an applied Statistics thingy in class today - about how much students spend on average on shoes in a year. I counted and came to about €120 - I buy boots these days, and good boots may not be cheap but they do last me a couple of years. One girl confessed to spending €900 (!!) a year on shoes. She buys a new phone every few months as well. No idea where all that comes from... Anyway, the experiment was interesting, even though I didn't understand all the stept because I'm slow that way. I'll go see the teacher again, and most likely he will once again demonstrate infinite patience in talking me through again.

Now, as you may have guessed, I would really like BT and UKservers to stop faffing about and get me my email.

Cheers,
Arwen

Hi Rachel

Thanks. Since 'Barry' was gone I decided to use the adage "You are what you eat." and go for hobnobs, as they are my major food vice. :)

(Hobnobs and Pepsi = Sugar Rush ;) )

So what's happening about paying for the kicking things boots?

If I give you a branch number (or is it bank number?) and sort code, can you transfer to my UK account? I'm with TSB Lloyds. That would be the easiest for me and by far less painful than dealing with cheques etc. If it's in my UK account I can just withdraw the money from here and put it into my Dutch account. (that does require me to remember the PIN, but nevermind that)

Do you want me to send them or is taking them over to the Halloween meet okay?

Halloween's fine. IIRC the sort code *is* the branch number. I'd need the account number and the sort code, then I can do it online. Or I could just hand you euros in cash at halloween, if that's easier.

Oh and while I was the appropriate age for being a student I spent approximately 10 euro/year on shoes. I had one pair of boots and one pair of shoes and they lasted me aaages. Course, I could hardly bloody *walk* (yay stupidly expensive custom orthopaedic boots) but they hadn't actually fallen apart so I didn't buy any more.
