...but it's fun nonetheless

Very frustrating game... my hand-eye coordination isn't good enough for this one; which is logical if you think I'm a) mousing with left and b) RSIsh.

In other news, nothing certain about the Halloween trip yet, in the sense that I haven't booked anything yet; it's all gone a bit pricey. Cheapest option is Eindhoven-Stanstead but that does involve flying back at 6:45 on monday morning, which I am guessing is public-transport-technically impossible. Not much more expensive is flying back on monday evening, but that means I'm at large the whole monday, probably on my own and with luggage - worse, without money to do anything much fun, though I suppose I could do the museums. The British Museum's Egyptian Collection (not to mention the reading room!) might prove inspirational for my desert-based story... I saw some good books on the desert peoples there last time but did not have time to dig in.

...warming up to that idea...

Hmmm...

I do always want to spend tons of money in the museum shop... they have SUCH pretty things! Not to mention all the books!

Does anyone know if one can leave a backpack or something at the reception desk? Or don't they do that kind of thing anymore with terrorist safety measures etc?

One advantage of returning on monday is that an O-bar/Satsuma reunion trip becomes optional... if I do decide to this I shall ring Chris and Sarah to see if they are game...

Shall I tell you how to cheat in the reverse game?

Turn your mouse around.

There's a left luggage place at Liverpool St station, so you could leave your bag there for the day. Can't remember how much it costs, but you could try asking Uwe, as I'm fairly sure he used it after Ruthi and Cookie's wedding. That way you can wander around London at your leisure, and just pick your stuff up when you go to get the train to Stansted.

ISTR it's £10 per item, unless prices have changed since December and unless I'm misremembering.

Ah thanks, I've just found that the museum does store backpacks and stuff... I have that week off so it's more possible (possibler?) than I thought to stay the monday...

Cheers,
