It kind of is, except we were anchored. Next time I go (hopefully in december) I will feel brave enough to climb there when we're at sea. Being that far up doesn't bother me, but you have to pass through a gap in the A-frame which is a bit awkward, I dared not do it this time for fear I would get stuck! (up there you move around a bit when you're out at sea)
