arwen_luneTomorrow: the first day of the new term.
Tomorrow: hospital-dentist checkup, so missing the first day of new term.
Today: fever.
Not the horrible curl-up-in-bed-wake-me-next-week kind of fever, but enough to be in and out of fleece jumpers all day in an attempt to either stop shivering or stop sweating. Last night I was awake shivering until 4 AM - even with the electric blanket on in full force! It was bizarre, I could feel my tigh and it would register that the skin was burning hot, but I was still shivering with cold. Eventually put the blanket to 'low' and managed some sleep.
Woke up around 6 AM to be sweating like crazy. Turned off the elec. blanket and opened the bed while I went downstairs for a moment. Was nice and cool when I got back in, sweating all over again in moments.
Bah.
Still dreaming of sailing.
