Almost aquired a cat tonight, or rather it adopted me. I came home from exam (think it went alright, by the way) and it appeared from under a car and approached meowing loudly and being very desperate for attention. Small white/tigerstiped female, I thought - about half a year old. It didn't look skinny or neglected but the attention-desperate behaviour (and the way it wolfed down the handful of dry food we gave it) definitely indicated some time of street life. Apparently it's been wandering about the street all day. I put her in the sidekitchen while I tried to find it anyone missed such a cat, but the kids from down the street (where it had tried to adopt itself this morning) came to take it round the doors. I felt sad (I think it's a dumpee) but if they can't find its home that family will probably adopt it.

Also have the feline Silly Sleeping Pose Olympics. Very funny :-)

That site is hilarious! and I'm amused to see there are more cats that like to sleep on their face:-)
