* shopping just after a big dinner is good for your wallet. No impulse purchases, yay!

* If anyone desires the ownership of a busy email-list currently under my supervision, raise your hand and it's yours.

* I am such a slut for colours. Bought a longsleeves shirt just because it is green with yellow accents. Green and yellow are the colours of my endurance-outfit. I have a green/yellow bridle, green saddleblanket, black carousel breeches with green stripe, and a green/yellow helmet. And now a shirt to match. Over this in competition you wear a yellow slipover with your competition number.
It's not an obsession, I just like being a matched set with my horse :-)

* While waiting to pay for the shirt I observed a young couple. They looked my age. Actually, they looked a bit younger. She looked exhausted as she paid for her things, he stood aside with one of those big strollers with a toddler in the front and a baby in the back. The toddler definitely wasn't older that a year. The parents both had that dazed, run-down look in their eyes that said something like "Huh... how did it come to this?"

* Horse was having a good, moody sulk when I came to get him. I swear it, he can be that expressive. Looked just like a 14-year old boy. "Oh it's YOU again..."
He cleared up when I gave him a good brushing. Still in his wintercoat - the weather has been nice and springy, so he must be warm. You'd think he'd be dropping all that hair in a hurry, but no. Still prepared for an Ice Age, that one.
Rode our trainings-lap in just under an hour, incl. the 10 minutes I paused where my mother and aunt awaited us with groom supplies - two sloshbottles to pour over Rowan's neck and something to drink for me. That was a test to see how his pulse reacted to cooling, and I was pleased - we came in with 140 and it dropped right down to 75. Then it went up again, because Dear Horse thought standing there while I chatted was boooooriing... and worked himself up a bit. I took him out again, and he was fine. His trot is developing well now, he doesn't switch to canter anymore anytime we take a bend in the path or take a slope.

* I am really tired of people who come to me looking for validation of the fact they have been WWWWWwwronged. I mean, honestly! If I wanted to deal with that kind of stuff, I'd be a preschool teacher, or a mother.
"She's being meeeaaaan to me!" well what do I care, just deal with it yourself...

Sounds like you're feeling better - glad to hear that!

And I wouldn't take list ownership if you offered it to me on a golden platter, with Elves to boot. ;-) I think you're doing a good job with it - assuming it's the list I think it is.

Yes, better thankfully, the new bout of antibiotics is doing its job..

And yes, it IS that list. I made my job easier yesterday by deciding that people no longer on the list do not get to have a say in how it should be moderated...

*snert* Well, yeah! Are you seriously saying that former or non-members were trying to tell you how to moderate? What a joke.

*wanders off pondering on the incomprehensibility of some human minds*
