arwen_luneWell it looks as if my sailing plans for the summer are a no-go... The volunteers will soon bid for the voyages of this summer and I will not have gone through the security checks in time to do that. So I probably become backup in case someone cancels - since not all ports are easily/affordably accessible to me I'm not sure how likely the chance is of that working out. I had hoped to be able to see part of the Tall Ship Races but those will be popular, it's highly unlikely I'll be able to do that. (the upside is that Sail 2005 probably becomes possible)
The other option is to wait and see what gets discounted and go as voyage crew. Which is also lots of fun. I have a slight preference for adult voyages but if I get the chance to go for a reasonable price... It'll have to be wait-and-see.
