But I thought for a second you might be referring to an interesting book called 'The Jew in the Lotus'. It's a true account of a group of Rabbis who went to meet with the Dalai Lama and discuss the similarities between Judaism and Buddhism.
Thought provoking... but not as amusing as what it *actually* was :)
