Signed off the ship this morning... said farewell to the party peoples and just walked away. Resisted the urge to cry. I'm not so much tired as worn down by the intensity of it all, so maybe I'm just feeling a bit more emotional that normal. Bye Europa! I've had a great time aboard and definitely will be back in some way.

I'm now with Sean and Mia, who are lovely and undemanding and have a washing machine and a dryer... so that shortly I will have something clean to wear for the few days that I'm here. I think there was talk of Indian food as well. Yum! I love Indian food, sadly it's very rare in the Netherlands. We just don't have the right minority groups I guess.

My head is still at sea... I think it will be for some time. It's always hard to let go after something like this.

I didn't know that. You need to spend some time in the U.K., we've got lots of Indian food here! I like it too :-)

Poor you! My parents went to Newcastle yesterday to look at the ships - they said it was amazing but packed. They could have walked past you! They were going to go aboard Prince William but decided to leave it until they walked back the other way - of course they'd closed the gangplank by that time. Typical. Glad you had such an amazing time though.

I get some of my sailing photos back tomorrow. Wheee!
