Nightshift Haiku

Sun rises in East
Nightwatch's eyes glaze over
No more Solitaire

Clear night and full moon
Quiet quayside, nothing moves
Fenders groan softly

Odd: dinner is breakfast
Nightwatch's rhythm reversed
Please wake me at 5

Four in the morning
All sensible folk abed
Footballers play on

October winds blow
The nightwatch closes the hatch
My feet are freezing

Sun high in the sky
Down below the nightwatch sleeps
Please don't slam the doors

thanks! I'm not so good at deciding on what's a syllable, so I'd never done haiku before. Then a while ago I read an article on them that said that the picture should be more important than the precise metre anyway and I decided to go with it...
