(when you're a student..)

Since I'm using the laptop I could really use a memorystick. So far I've used my mp3 player but it's a real pain to take music on and off every time to make space. A 128 mb stick costs about 30 euro I don't currently have. I know that if you move in the right circles these things are handed out as promo item, so you never know...

Is there anyone who has a 128mb stick they could spare? I'll pay postage and owe you a drink.

edit: just remembered that 2 weeks ago I found an empty 256 stick in a uni computer and promptly handed it in at the IT desk. Whoever forgot it doesn't seem to have missed it yet, it's still in the 'found' tray..

30€ for 128 mb? That's damn expensive. I'd expect to pay around 10€ for that here. I just this weekend saw some 512 mb ones for 29€ somewhere....

Ah.. and then I read the entry properly. You didn't mean a USB memory did you... you actually meant a memory stick. That would be about the same price here yes.
