Mutant Superpowers

Despite this not being a secret mutant research facility, I do seem to have developed a Cool Mutant SuperPower (tm) - the tendency to zap anything and anyone with a hefty charge of static electricity. Bzzt! Now I just need to learn to control it and I'll being going for the White House. World power, here I come.

I've been zapping the cat myself. She loves a good pet, and then likes to sniff my fingers, presumably to see what I've brushed off her fur. Unfortunately, lately I've been building up a good static charge by rubbing her back, so when she brings her little nose round... ZAP!

Ah - let me guess - typical "government issue" style building with metal doors and metal divider-walls and nylon carpets and nylon chair covers?

Last time I worked somewhere like that I had to learn to discharge myself before trying to open doors otherwise it was quite unpleasant!
